GETTING TO ZANZIBAR
Ethiopian Airlines, KLM/Kenya Airways, Condor, Oman Air, Fly Dubai, Qatar Airways, Turquish Airlines, Egypt Air, Meridian & Italian charters offer international flights to Zanzibar. British Airways, Emirates and Swiss fly to Dar es Salaam. From Dar es Salaam, Precision Air, Zanair, Tropical Air and Costal Aviation offer short trip by air (20 minutes) to Zanzibar. From and To South Africa FastJet. Check TUI for direct flights from Brussels & Amsterdam.

ELECTRICITY
220- 240 V AC, 50Hz. We provide adapters. Electricity comes under the ocean from Tanzania. It is always useful to travel with your own torch.
4.
MONEY
Zanzibar uses Tanzanian Shillings (TZS).
From Europe we advise you to take US Dollars or Euro & change at the airport.
Be aware that we DO NOT HAVE a BANK or ATM in JAMBIANI so be sure you have enough tanzanian shillings before coming to the South East Coast. Zanzibar accepts only USD from 2006 and above.
ATM only at the airport or Stone Town, the Zanzibar city or a NEW one in PAJE, 7 km from our village.
5.
PAYMENT
To guarantee your reservation in USD we ask a 50% deposit. You will get an email from DIRECT PAY secure online system.
Accommodation are due 30 days before arrival.
Food and drinks the last day of your stay in Tanzanian Shillings. If you want to pay cash in EURO or USD check our average rate at the office. If you want to pay by CREDIT CARD VISA/ MASTERCARD, amount will be in USD.
6.
HEALTH
Traveling from Europe or USA, yellow fever inoculation is recommended but not obligatory. Please contact the Travel Clinic or Tanzanian embassy in your country to get the last update.
7.
TOURIST VISA
At your arrival you have to pay 50 USD per person to get a tourist visa - by credit card.

RENT A CAR

You need to provide your international driving license. Zanzibar drive on the left and the majority of cars are automatic.

Food & drinks are in Tanzanian Shillings, excursions & taxi in USD.

We can book a taxi for you when you arrive at the airport, 60 USD to pay directly to KACHO driver, 1hour driving to Jambiani.

In case of check in after 21h30, our security MASSAI will show you the room and give you the key.

At check out, please take your shampoo or other plastic containers home as Zanzibar is struggling with recycling.

Outside shower is at the pool side and also at the Beach Bar.
